Latin America
The Trust has been active in Central and South America for many years now and has built up strong relationships with regional and local partners. These partnerships have helped us reach freelancers in Bolvia, Colombia, Cuba, El Savador, Mexico and Peru and undertake a breakthrough project in Mexico that led to the country's first ever safety training courses for journalists.
We are now looking to expand our presence in the region and, to identify the needs of freelancers in other latin american countries - especially in Guatemala and Hondouras where the situation of journalists is worsening.
